SPLIT
Privacy Policy
Last updated 22 September 2026
Split has no accounts and never asks who you are. The only data it collects comes from the ads that keep it free, which are provided by Google.
Split saves two things: your best score and whether sound is on. Both are stored on your device and never leave it. Deleting the app deletes them.
Starting with version 1.1, Split shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the start and game-over screens, and an occasional full-screen ad between runs. Ads never appear while you're playing.
Ads are non-personalized for everyone. They're chosen from context, such as the app itself and your general location, not from your activity in other apps or websites. Ad content is limited to Google's Teen rating.
To show ads, Split includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK. According to Google, it may collect:
Google uses this to deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud, and fix problems. This data goes to Google, not to me. In AdMob I see only totals, such as how many ads were shown and what they earned. I can't see who you are.
For details, see how Google uses information from apps that use its services and Google's Privacy Policy.
Split doesn't track you across other companies' apps or websites, and it never shows Apple's tracking prompt. I don't sell your information.
Before any ads load, you'll see Google's consent message, where you can choose to consent or not. The game works the same either way. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy choices on Split's start screen.
If you tap the share button after a run, Split hands your score to your device's standard share sheet. You choose where it goes. Split does not see the recipient and keeps no record of what was shared.
Split is rated 13+ on the App Store and isn't directed at children under 13. It doesn't knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because I don't hold any data about you, there's nothing for me to look up or delete. For information Google holds, you can use Google's privacy controls or the contact options in its Privacy Policy.
If Split's data practices change, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
